RESEARCH

DIGITAL ETIQUETTE is good to have that way people will respect you.you need it even if you do not know the person you are talking to so this way you will not be a troll! If you go to an interview and they see that you were a troll, there is a high posobility that you will not get hired. HOMEWORK

America Offline- A group of people going across America telling stories of how a lot of people live without internet access at home. They are trying t get every house in America to turn off their internet at the same time.

Digital Divide- Gap between households, businesses, etc. and their communication with technology and what not.

Unequal Access- 40% of Americans are not 'dail-up' with the internet at home.

Innovators- A person or organization that is the first to introduce into reality something better than before.

What are the options for better access?- Going to a public library or somewhere where there is internet access.

Explain the final recommendations?- Going somewhere where there is internet access.

What could be done to increase internet access and and create more choices for communities nationwide?- Making internet cheap.

What actions need to be taken to keep the internet open for users and innovators?- The internet companies should lower the prices of internet access.

VOCABULARY

  • Etiquette: Every person should know how to practice good etiquette so they could look professional.
  • Conduct: People who have bad conduct usually end up in a bad situation.
  • Courtesy: Parents must teach their children good courtesy so people wont think bad of them.
  • Flame: I have seen many websites where people flaming others through comments or post.
  • Troll: A lot of great information on the web has been copy&paste because trolls have claimed the article is theres.

OVER ALL REFLECTION!

In my over all reflection I give myself a 4 because i put some effort into this project and I took my time to make it the best it cold be for the 6th graders. I still think i could have done a better job but for some reason...I did not.

EVALUATE REFLECTION

I give the evaluat reflection a 3 because im putting some effort into my evaluation. I should have took more time on the evaluation so that I could have been completely honest about it and I could have maybe gotten a better grade than my actual grade.

CREATE REFLECTION

I give my create reflection a 5 because I put a lot of time and effort into my prodect and it came out pretty good. I made a game and along with the game, 5 GAMES CAME OUT! So on my project there is many games to play so that the 6th graders could understand the design cycle much better than they already do.

PLAN REFLECTION

I give my plan reflection a 2 because i only planned a little bit. I did not really put much effort into my planning stage... so if I would have took my time, i could have done a way better job.

INVESTIGATION REFLECTION

I give my investigation reflection a 4 because I took my time and I went to several different websites to finally decide on my project. But i still feel like a could have done a little better with my investigation so i could have came out even better than it did or i wish it would have came out.

DESIGN SPECIFICATIONS
   Simple for a 6th grader to understand and not find difficult.
   Teach a 6th grader the Design Cycle and about it.
   6th graders will be able to identify the steps of the Design Cycle with no problems.
   Will be a minimum of 2 minutes long or more.
   About 5 pages long on flip book.
   Not that distracting from the point or main ideas of the design cycle.
   Made by Comic Master program online.
   Possible to transfer onto a pen drive or by email.
   Be able to use while offline.
   Possible to save and copy.
   Must be able to be created in given time.
   Simple to base off another project or idea.
   Can not be too difficult to break.

COMIC MASTER


                    For 'COMIC MASTERS!' I gave the background a 5. I gave the characters a 4. I gave the the text a 5. And i gave the simplicity a 3.
                  I gave the background a 5 because it was real creative. It had all these details and features that you could out in the background to make it look better. 'COMIC MASTERS!' did a good job in the background. I think the kids are going to like it because it is just great.
                 The characters was given a 4 because it had lots of detail. All of the animation and feature is had was very good. I think the kids will enjoy 'COMIC MASTERS!' because of the art work/drawings it contains. I mean, art work is the life of the little kids because they just enjoy it so much and nobody can judge them because very piece of art has a meaningful meaning to at least one person.
       I gave the text a 5 because it was very good. It had a lot of detail and features. The kids are really going to like the text on this website. You can do all sort of stuff with the textual stuff!
      The simplicity was given a 3 because it was not all that simple. It actually did have a lot of detail. The features and details you could add were actually a lot.

SKETCHFU


Backgrounds: I gave the backgrounds a 3 because it was not all that great it was just okay.
Characters: I gave the characters a 2 since the art was not animated enough.
Text: The text was given a 2 since it did not really have much to offer for the text.
Simplicity: The simplicity was given given a 4 because 'sketchfu'  was real simple.
           The background of 'sketchfu' was given a 3 in the evaluation. I gave the background this evaluation because it was kind of childish. It did not really have an detail to it. The background was just to simple to be chosen for my project.
           The characters of 'sketchfu' was not all that professional. It looked like a little kid had drew the stuff. I need my project to be all professional. I gave it a 2 in the evaluation chart because of this.
            The was given a 2 in the  evaluation since it was not all that great. They could have at least put a little detail to it. It was just to plain. It was just written in regular text which is to boring for anybody, especially a 6th grader who is still real childish and just want to have fun and just wants to get the thing that looks the coolest.
            The simplicity was awesome for 'sketchfu'! I gave it a 4. This was the only good thing about 'sketchfu' because this way of making your project was super simple. Everything about 'sketchfu' was simple. So if you want to make your project simple i recommend this way of making your project for you because i am sure you will love this way of making your project.

day2

I learned a lot today. I learned how to make an animation book for kids on this website. It's called 'ComicMaster!' ,you can make like a picture book type of thing and animate it and a lot of stuff. You can also make this crossword alike thing on the website so that the kids try and figure it out and have fun learning at the same time! This is a good thing because most kids do not like learning and if it fun learning well then they do not mind because they are enjoying them selves. I found this animation at Www.ComicMasters.Org and it is really fun for the little kids and I think they will really enjoy have an opportunity to experience this animation I will create.

I compared this animation with a different one called 'Sketchfu' and 'ComicMasters!' was better with all the extra features it has and the animation is better. I think the kids will enjoy this animation I will create for them.
